FAQ’s
1. Is the Strategy Call absolutely necessary?
Yes! This is a necessary step to determine if Benandi PT is the right fit for your needs and make sure that you are a qualified candidate that will benefit from services provided.
2. What if I can’t make it for 90 minutes for the initial evaluation?
To ensure the highest quality of care and a comprehensive assessment, the full 90 minutes is required for all Initial Evaluations. This allows us to find the root cause without rushing the process.
3. Are Continuity Programs required?
Continuity Programs are a commitment to your health. They provide the best chance for recovery and improvement. While session to session is offered, Benandi PT has the most lenient reschedule and cancellation policies for those who are committed.
4. What happens if I can’t finish my Continuity Program in the allotted time?
We understand life happens. If you are consistently attending sessions but need to pause for >4 weeks (due to travel, etc.), simply discuss it with Dr. Benandi. The remainder of your program can be converted into clinic credit and a 90-minute block will be scheduled for the following session. Any remaining credit at that time will be applied to future purchases.
5. What do I get at the end of an Evaluation, Recovery Session and Performance Session?
If you are in a Recovery Program, you will receive a superbill (receipt with appropriate medical codes) that can be submitted to insurance. All 3 session types listed here will also receive a written recap email from the session. Recap emails outline main takeaways and findings from the session, an updated home program and exercise routine, and an updated plan of action.
6. Can I really reach out to Dr. Benandi following sessions?
Absolutely! Dr. Benandi encourages everyone to either respond to their recap email or shoot him a text with any questions, concerns, or updates. He generally will get back to you by the end of the same day. If you connect with him outside of normal clinical hours, then he will respond the following day.
7. Do I get access to Reflex Performance Gym when I work with Benandi PT?
On days that you have a session; Reflex is available to use. Everyone is welcome to come before their session or stay after to use stretching areas, cardio equipment or get a lift in. Those who are on an Applied Development Program will be actively encouraged to show up before their session time to stretch and get warmed up so that the 45 minutes of time with Dr. Benandi can be effectively used.
8. How will I know if I need Recovery, Performance, or Applied Development Program?
These 3 programs have been developed with you in mind! Depending on your goals and needs Dr. Benandi will outline his recommendation of what Program would fit you best at the end of the Evaluation. Someone who has had an injury or is dealing with chronic issues likely will start with Recovery. Another who wants to deal with an achy back when golfing and has a desire to generate more power and speed on the course would fall into the Performance realm. Those who are looking for high level coaching without significant medical issues or performance limitations would qualify for Applied Development.
9. What is the parking situation like?
Benandi PT is connected to Reflex Performance gym. Reflex has a full parking lot and all spaces are free to use. When you enter the lot, use any space on the right side. All spaces marked for Reflex are okay to use. If the lot is full, street parking on Bellevue or an adjacent street is available and also free (no meters).
10. How do I find Benandi PT when I arrive for my Evaluation?
Benandi PT is located in suite 4, but has its own separate entrance from the gym. When you arrive, go to the end of the build – at the end of the parking lot is a fence, turn right and you will see Benandi PT. Dr. Benandi generally will keep the door propped open – come on in when you arrive! If you have any trouble, please call or text at 818-925-8094. If you do end up in the gym, feel free to ask someone where Benandi PT is located.
